Momma Noodles

Perched in a hideaway in the heart of Zushi, Momma Noodles is a haven for vegans looking for an amazing meal. The owners Matt and Aya opened their restaurant in July 2020 with much fanfare in the vegan community in and around Tokyo and Kanagawa. For now, they’re working out of a pop-up space – but as the demand grows, so will their operations.

Every 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday of the month they open their doors to the public with delicious and varied menu sets. There are two floors for dining inside as well as a terrace for outdoor dining when the weather is nice.

For Thanksgiving, they hosted a reservation-only 4-course dinner for those of us who were looking for a warm, communal Thanksgiving meal sans Turkey. For many traveling and living away from home during the holidays, Matt and Aya aim to provide a comfortable and inviting locale to cure any homesickness or hunger. Matt, who hails from the U.S., understands the struggle, having lived outside of the states for more than 16 years. No doubt, he and Aya are striving to recreate more monthly banquets every month. Pay them a visit for a quality meal and visit their Facebook page for details of upcoming events.
