Veg Out

When in Kyoto, do as the Kyotans do – and this place is clearly a city favorite. They have some of the freshest vegan food I could find in town and their menu is chock-full of succulent seasonal vegetables and creations like their feta tofu, found in their veggie panini.

Be sure to sit by the window for an unforgettable view of the Kamo River. You’ll eat while taking in the idyllic scenes of birds flying and splashing under the bridge to the locals taking a peaceful riverside stroll. Here it’s not hard to unwind and feel one with nature.
