A laid-back meal at Magokoro is a must when you’re in Kamakura. Let the friendly (and multilingual!) staff know you’re vegan and they’ll whip up something delectable, either on or off-menu. Many items on the menu contain hemp and the staff will speak enthusiastically of the nutritional benefits of the seeds. Sprinkle them on top of anything you order and enjoy the unobstructed views of the ocean at Yuigahama beach.
The vibe is always convivial and everyone at Magokoro, including the patrons, seem to be musically inclined. Your chef might belt out a song with the guitar as the sun sets and occasionally the owner will host live music events in the space upstairs.
